Simple Redirect

Direct vs. Dynamic QR Codes

Most "free" QR code generators don't actually give you a direct QR code. They create a dynamic code that first goes through their server, then redirects to your destination. That lets them turn your QR code off later, unless you pay.

We don't do that.

Direct QR Codes (Default)
  • Go straight to your destination
  • No middleman, no redirects
  • Never expire
  • Can't be turned off or "held hostage"
Dynamic QR Codes (Optional)
  • Redirect through a custom URL
  • Lets you change the destination later
  • Useful for marketing, updates, or tracking
  • Requires an account (free)

Simple rule: If you want something permanent, use a direct QR code. If you want flexibility, use a dynamic QR code.

Error Correction

QR codes contain built-in redundancy so they can still be scanned even if part of the code is covered, damaged, or dirty. The level controls how much of the code can be obscured and still work — H allows up to 30% to be missing, which is essential when using a logo. Higher levels produce a denser pattern; use L or M only for logo-free codes that need to be printed very small.
